This is how I photographed yesterdays image of the tiger lily. It was a shot born out of necessity, in a way. The breeze was moving the lily around so much I couldn’t get a decent shot, so I stabilized the whole thing by setting up the tripod in such a way that the flower rested on the lens. It worked great!
