A few years ago I watched every day as the huge buildings of this former Recycling center were demolished and hauled away. Ever since then the area has been one huge expanse of concrete as the buildings floors were never broken up. I’ve seen coyotes on the property, which is amazing considering its proximity to downtown Chicago. I really want to hop the fence and wander around…but I doubt it will ever happen.
